Samantha was hired at the BCCA to initiate two projects: BioLym (Biology of Lymphoid Cancer) and TTR (Tumour Tissue Repository). BioLym was successfully launched in August 2014. TTR is still currently under construction. These projects are tumour bio-banking initiatives that give patients the opportunity to participate in cancer research by donating their tumour tissue and a blood samples.
Outside the office, Samantha enjoys yoga, dance, golf, and downhill skiing. One day she hopes to graduate form medical school and start her own practice, maybe even as an oncologist!
